BUDDY DUGHI was born in Long Island, New York, and while in the 5th grade, moved to southern California along with his parents Rick and Linda, and sister Joni. He plays with a variety of setups including assorted Gretsch 6120 guitars, a flamed double neck Hallmark guitar custom-made by Bob Shade and a TNM Special Guitar.

He uses a 1963 Fender Bassman, Gomez Amp or a Standel Amp. He uses a tape delay or delay pedal and sometimes uses a Fender reverb tank.
